Cheryl Blankenship, Lac.
Cheryl Blankenship received a Masters Degree of Oriental Medicine from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida in 2001. She was initially trained in massage therapy at Dr. Jay Scherer’s Institute of Natural Healing in 1994 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Following her massage training she practiced as a full time massage therapist at The Therapy Group at Breckenridge in Breckenridge, Colorado and at the In Touch Massage and Wellness Center in Frisco, NC. Cheryl opened Island Acupuncture in June of 2001.
Cheryl is licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB) to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine and is certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate in acupuncture.
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS
Megan Howell, LMBT.
Megan attended the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in 2009. She specializes in the Cayce/Reilly massage technique, Swedish, Deep tissue and reflexology. Megan is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy, and is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Megan will be taking appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Tracie Rosso, LMBT.
Tracie attended the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in 1995. Traci specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lomi- Lomi, Prenatal Massage and reflexology. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy, and certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Traci will be taking appointments on Fridays.
